"Sarah was our son’s speech therapist for eight months. He was almost 4 ½ years old at the time and prior to seeing Sarah, he was only able to put two words together. As well as severe language delay and pronunciation difficulties, he also found it very difficult to concentrate. After eight months of working with Sarah, the time he was able to engage with her and concentrate, went from 5 minutes to 20 minutes plus. He was producing 3 – 4 word sentences and had mastered his pronunciation difficulties.Sarah was also an invaluable support to us as parents, beyond the therapy itself by; initiating and building up a positive relationship with the NHS therapists and his school, thereby creating a joined-up approach to our son, providing us with resources to help us help our child, sharing her knowledge to help us through the process of our son getting a statement and her therapy plans are very tangible and easy to follow. Sarah was extremely thorough in her approach and provided a detailed initial assessment followed by updated therapy plans as she mastered the various target sounds.
